So sometimes it happens

A few days ago, from the balcony of my apartment, I saw the glittering butterfly – Common yellow swallowtail . There was no chance of photographing. This morning I went to work on the garden. After work I spotted this butterfly on a leaf of basil. I looked and decided to go home for the equipment and to photograph. It is about 300m in both directions. I did not expect him to wait. Well, I came back, took pictures from different distances, and he did not even move. Then 2 hours later I was back in the garden, and the butterfly was still sitting. I thought he was not in good shape, but when I got about 80cm away, the butterfly flew away. So sometimes it happens. Here are some photos of this great butterfly.

Already quite a long time since I presented a new beetle. There was no opportunity to meet and photograph. This time he flew onto the surface of the package and even hang out there long. So I had the opportunity to do a few photos. Here Longhorn beetle (Leptura quadrifasciata). We have several similar species, and one of them some time ago photographed. It was Leptura aurulenta.

The olive skipper (Pyrgus serratulae)

Many people do not see so small and modest coloration of butterflies. Just what macro photography allows them to know and watch carefully. The olive skipper (Pyrgus serratulae) new species to my collection of butterflies. This is my fourth family Hesperiidae. These very small butterflies are difficult to see because of the modest coloring. When we look closely we see its interesting shape and pattern on the wings. I met him on the edge of the woods on the flowers of wild plants. After several attempts I managed to get close and take pictures. Here they are.
